How fun!

Over 6 inches of hail fell down.

We had four feet of hail a few blocks away during one particular storm in Denver last year (thankfully just 6 inches at my house). I think it would've been cheaper for my insurance to build me a garage than deal with these claims.

At least you didn’t get that other thing that usually happens along with hail.

Haha Ottawa resident of 10 years, now albertan. Has lved with far more snow than desirable. I keep thinking North Carolina would be a ince place to live. Although the daylight here in northern alberta is incredible. It is 22:40 and not quite dark yet.

I’ve been living in Alberta for 10 years and I’ve never experienced this much precipitation. This year alone we’ve had more precipitation than the last 10 years combined. I’ve never experienced it where it rains/storms 4+ days a week for weeks on end.
Normally you are lucky if it rains 4 times a month.
We’ve had a CRAZY mild winter, I guess this is payback for that.

I have been wondering. I keep hearing how dry Alberta is, and it's my first summer here. Dry? LOL really? It rains every day around 5pm lol. My lawn grows at the rate of a foot per week.

I assure you this is definitely not typical Alberta weather.
